Refrigeration Installation Technician

Join commercial and industrial refrigeration projects from installation through completion. The role is Brisbane-based and includes some regional work, making it suitable for a qualified mechanic who enjoys projects and is comfortable with travel.

The work

  • Install refrigeration systems, cold rooms, refrigerated equipment and associated plant.
  • Coordinate with other trades and support apprentices as experience allows.
  • Assist with service work where required and undertake some regional or remote projects in Queensland and NSW.

What you’ll bring

  • Refrigeration trade qualification and applicable licences.
  • Relevant installation capability; commercial refrigeration and controls experience are useful.
  • Willingness to undertake agreed away work. This is not advertised as a fixed FIFO roster.

  • Company vehicle, fuel card, phone and uniforms.
  • Applicable overtime and away-work allowances; accommodation and travel terms discussed before offer.
  • Technical support and scope to develop project-coordination skills.
