Rivina started because we were tired of watching companies struggle to hire and candidates land in the wrong roles while recruiters with no trade background tried to mediate both.
Our story
We saw the problem from the inside
Flynn and Declan both come from the trade industry and understand what good actually looks like on the tools. That background shapes how Rivina speaks with employers and screens candidates.
They also saw how broken recruitment was for trade companies. Employers were flooded with weak applications, candidates were walking into poor-fit jobs, and agencies were talking in circles.
Rivina was built as the fix, a trade-specific recruitment business that can ask better questions, move faster, and understand the job beyond the job title.
Flynn
Co-Founder
Qualified carpenter with recruitment experience, focused on building strong relationships and making sure each search is grounded in what the business and candidate actually need. Flynn understands how tradies work, what makes a role attractive, and where to find candidates who are not sitting on job boards.
Declan
Co-Founder
Qualified HVAC-R technician with 5+ years of hands-on trade experience. Declan uses his industry background to properly assess technical ability, attitude, reliability and long-term fit, while helping both clients and candidates make the right move.
