Field Service & Installation Electrician

Install, commission and service industrial machinery in a field-based role. Brisbane is the home base, with substantial interstate travel and occasional New Zealand assignments. Equipment-specific training is provided.

The work

  • Complete electrical installation, commissioning, servicing and breakdown repairs on industrial equipment.
  • Work alongside mechanical technicians and support customers on operational sites.
  • Travel for installation projects, commonly in blocks of two to three weeks; time away varies with the project pipeline.

What you’ll bring

  • Electrical trade qualification and current licence.
  • Commercial or industrial experience is preferred; recently qualified electricians can be considered.
  • Willingness to travel and work additional hours during installations, with sound fault-finding and customer skills.

  • Vehicle allowance, fuel and applicable overtime in addition to base salary.
  • Work-related travel expenses covered and applicable living-away allowance.
  • Equipment training and potential progression into installation leadership.
